As a child of the 60’s I grew up with a rebellious questioning attitude, never accepting an explanation that “It’s always worked like that”.
After studying Pure Mathematics and Chemistry at Hull University I moved into teaching Mathematics at a secondary school in London. By 1978 I had tired of teaching so decided to change my career and indulge my love of computer programming, which is what I continue to do today working as a Programmer based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation Trust.
In 1992 I read a book on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and realised that you can reprogram the mind as well as the computer. I studied with the originator of NLP, Richard Bandler and took Richard to India where I presented on stage with him. I continued my studies into Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy, Geomancy, and finally Kinesiology where I feel Ifound the ultimate health paradigm.
My latest venture is to combine everything I’ve learned throughout my life, and start a research program with the NHS to show the effectiveness of Kinesiology in a whole range of ailments.

Sonia is a confident and highly motivated individual who is passionate about working with people to improve and develop their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
She trained initially as a dancer, specializing in Contemporary Dance and in this setting she very naturally developed an interest in gaining more knowledge about health and fitness and went on to study and become a highly skilled and professional qualified Health & Fitness and Studio Instructor, specializing in Pilates – Pilates Master – and Yoga – Hatha and Vinyasa – Somatic Movement Coach – and uses these exercise methods to design unique programs to fit the individual’s needs, working with clients that have problems ranging from sciatic nerve pain to MS, lower back problems to hyper mobility and many more conditions.
Her journey continued and through having her own health issues she came across Kinesiology – a gentle non invasive muscle testing that can identify any imbalances in the body, may they be structural, nutritional, emotional or electrical (i.e. neuro-lymphatic, neuro-vascular meridians) by accessing one’s ability to hold a particular muscle against light pressure – and ART (Autonomic Response Testing) the autonomic nervous system that can not be controlled by the mind.
Learning that the body and the mind have natural healing abilities that we can tap into to support our wellbeing, she came across EFT Therapy (emotional freedom technique), which helps to achieve physical and emotional wellbeing in a faster time frame.
To support her work she has also studied to become a Sports Massage Therapist, specialising in myofascial release and trigger points, Indian head massage and Ante and Postnatal massage.
Her ability to build rapport with a wide range of people from all over the world through excellent teaching and communication skills, her extensive language skills, fluent in Italian, German, English and French and her sensitivity to individual needs ensures that she is successful in supporting clients at all levels.
